Giving the Results in Advance
Chinmoy shares a prediction with an admirer.
In the
Ashram, I had a great admirer. He used to compete in the hurdles. On one occasion,
just before the sports competition, I said to him, "I have written down
your timing. It is under my pillow in my room. I will give you the key and you
can go and see -- but you have to finish your race first. You run and then you
can go to my room. You will stand first, that much I can say, but your timing I
cannot tell now."
Around 4:30 that same afternoon the race took place. My friend stood first and then he was so curious to see if my prediction was correct, he took the key and ran to my room only to find the exact same time under my pillow. He was so excited and delighted.
Again in
the long jump, I did it many, many times. Before my friends would jump, I would
write down in the sand their mark.
